Established in 1942, the Darlington is family owned and Operated.

The Inn offers very clean and comfortable accommodations.   We are centrally located in the Heart of Myrtle Beach directly across from the new Boardwalk, the 2nd Avenue Pier and numerous Restaurants and Attractions.   We offer a true alternative to the cookie cutter mega hotels.

The original Darlington was destroyed by a fire in 1981. The motel was rebuilt and opened for business in 1983. Through the years the Hucks family purchased some of the surrounding beach homes most dating to the early 1940’s. The original wood and charm still remains in these classic myrtle beach cottages. 

We are happy to accommodate your larger group. from reunions to bachelorette parties and even your entire cheer or baseball team.
